Abstract

Air- and water-stable chiral catalyst trisoxazolines 4-6/Cu(ClO₄)₂·6H₂O have been used in the Diels-Alder reaction of cyclopentadiene with acryloyl-2-oxazolidinones or ketoesters. The reaction is carried out in air and up to 82% ee was achieved.
