Abstract
In this paper, we first present a self-certified public key system based on the improved Rabin scheme. Subsequently, a self-certified public key based proxy signature scheme is proposed whose security is not loosely related to discrete logarithm assumption as most of the traditional schemes but tightly related to the decisional Diffie-Hellman (DHH) assumption in the Random Oracle models.
