Abstract

ZnS:Cu nano-films and corresponding resonator with different Cu composition were synthesized by water bath method. The XRD indicates that the ZnS:Cu nano-films has a cubic zinc-blend structure. The photoluminescence spectra of the ZnS:Cu nano-films has a strong luminescence peak located at 2.37 eV. The luminescence intensity of the Zns:Cu nano-films depends on the composition of Cu. The ZnS:Cu nano-films have the strongest luminescence with the the Cu/Zn mole ratio of 0.1%. The resonate cavity is composed of the aluminum film and the ITO film and the cavity length is 3.6 μm. More than 10 luminescence interference peaks were observed for the resonator and the quality factor of the cavity is determined to be 30.3.
