Abstract

Two-dimensional macroporous photonic crystal with mid-infrared band gap was fabricated by electrochemical etching method in this work. The sample structure is of square lattice with structure parameters: lattice constant a = 4 μm and the length of the square lattice structure l = 2 μm. The reflection spectrum of the sample was measured using the microscopic infrared spectrometer and showed the photonie crystal characteristics.
