Photon-number-counting with an InGaAs/InP avalanche photodiode by optical self-balancing

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingConference contributionpeer-review

Abstract

Infrared photon-number-resolving detection was achieved with an InGaAs/InP avalanche avalanche photodiode by using optical self-balancing technique to cancel the spike noise. A photon-number-resolving detection was achieved with the detection efficiency as high as 36%.
