Abstract

Ionic liquids based on 1, 3-dialkylimidazolium cation and pyridinium cation were employed as phase transfer catalysts for the phase transfer synthesis of dichlorocarbene and mixed ether. The results showed that ionic liquids based on 1, 3-dialkylimidazolium cation were efficient and reusable.
