Abstract

(Chemical Equation Presented) The combination of palladium acetate with XPhos shows high efficiency in the Hiyama cross-coupling reactions of aryl mesylates with arylsilanes. The reactions proceed smoothly to generate the corresponding biaryl compounds in good yields.
