Abstract

The nonlinear optical properties of the metal cluster were studied by using picosecond and nanosecond laser pulses. The optical limiting response of the clusters were measured by using transmission technique and the nonlinear absorption by a Z-scan technique. The results showed that the metal cluster possessed a good nonlinear optical properties and optical limiting for the nanosecond and picosecond pulse duration.
