Abstract
This letter studies the channel estimation and signal detection in the nonlinear orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) system. The pilot-assisted channel estimator is obtained based on the theory of the Bayesian posteriori minimum mean square error (MMSE). Moreover, the quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM) signal detection is achieved in the principle of extrinsic expectation and extrinsic variance passing. Numerical results verify the superior performance of our proposal with relatively low computational complexity.
