Abstract
The intersection C C⊥ of a linear code C and its dual C⊥ is called the hull of this code. When the hull of the code C is zero, the code C is called an LCD code. In this paper, we construct two new families of ternary LCD cyclic and BCH codes. Actually, we give some lengths such that any cyclic codes with these lengths are always LCD.
