New results on the regular polytopes and the theory of N-dimensional finite rotation group

Abstract

Based on the research for the regular polytope, the theory of N-dimensional finite rotation group is developed, some new formulas, results and a new theorem are given. Especially, the methods for calculating the unit elements number (when N > 3) in both N-dimensional finite rotation group and its stability group are found. At the same time, correctness of new formulas and theorem are verified, the computer simulating results of the regular polytopes in E4 to E5 are presented.
