Abstract

We have been developing flat panel displays, light sources and solar cells using nanostructured thin films. Various nanofabrication and excellent uniform deposition techniques were applied to development of carbon nanotube (CNT) field emission displays (FED), GaN-based light emitting diode (LEDs), copper indium gallium diselenide CuIn1-xGaxSe2 (CIGS) solar cells, and dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs). The high brightness and high efficiency LED integrated lighting sources were fabricated for practical application of illumination. The prototypes of carbon nanotube based FED and flat field emission lamps (FELs) with excellent FE properties and brightness have been demonstrated.
