Multi-color tunable laser source based on fiber optical parametric oscillator

Abstract

A multi-color tunable picosecond laser source was demonstrated in a fiber optical parametric oscillator. By cascade four-wave mixing process in the photonic crystal fiber, we obtained picosecond pulses at 9 wavelengths with average power of milliwatt level.
