Abstract

A new model was proposed based on multi-agent system to simulate spatio-temporal transmission process of infectious diseases on Swarm platform. The model consists of four components: attributes definitions, neighborhood, movement rules and state transition rules. The state transition rule is the core of the proposed model. The "memory" of susceptible agents on infection and decay of infection dose were considered. Moreover, the exponential of distance was introduced in transmission process of epidemic. As a result, the spatio-temporal characteristics of epidemic transmission were explicitly investigated in the model.
