Abstract

Technology plays an important role on the regional competitiveness. In this paper, we built a regional technology diffusion model based on MABS considering agents similar to irregular Cellular Automata model. The results show that under the impact of heterogeneous traffic lines, the traditional center-hinterland diffusion mode has been no longer fit. In reality technology diffusion mode complies with a hub-net structure. Traffic condition plays an important role in regional technology improvement. A preferential tax policy can be conductive to the improvement of the local technology level.
