Abstract

(Figure Presented) High hydrogen selectivity and thermal stability are displayed by a membrane of zeolitic imidazolate ZIF-22 grown on porous ceramic supports by using 3aminopropyltriethoxysilane (APTES) as covalent linker (see picture). At 323 K, H2/ CO2 selectivity of 7.2 and H 2 permeance of 1.6×10-7 mol m-2 S -1 Pa-1 were achieved.
