Abstract

The coordination of pyridazine-3,6-dicarboxylate by manganese-(II) leads to unusual anionic binuclear trigonal prisms, which coassemble with the hexaaquamanganese(II) antiprisms to generate a hydrogen-bonded CsCI-type three-dimensional network.
