Abstract

A novel heterogeneous catalyst FDU-PPh2/Pd (0) has been developed. It shows excellent activity in Heck reactions which can be performed successfully without an inert atmosphere. The catalyst can be recycled and reused for more than eight times without palladium leaching and significant loss of activity as well.
