Abstract

Recently, a great breakthrough was made by IBM in CPU manufacture using SOI technology, which shocked the whole world. The most prominent advantage of SOI circuits is its ability to realize low voltage/low power. The demand of market for low voltage/low power electronics and the principle of SOI low voltage/low power circuits were introduced. The present state of SOI low voltage/low power electronics was described.
