Abstract
We describe the development of an accurate optical frequency divider based on a Ti:Sapphire optical frequency comb. The division instability and uncertainty of the optical frequency divider are demonstrated to be 10-18 at 1 s averaging time and 3 × 10-22, respectively. The ability of coherence transfer is also demonstrated by resolving a hertz-level-linewidth spectroscopy.
