Abstract

Circuit simulation is an important technique to decreasing the cost and improving high efficiency in the circuit design. However, the existing circuit simulation software still can not meet the dual demands of the industry on the accuracy and speed. This paper used response surface method to establish the approximate relationship of the output and input against MOS elements. It simplified complex circuit calculation as linear calculation. As a result, it greatly reduces the work and increases the speed. Mean-while, in order to ensure the accuracy, the selected random points in the simulation has been improved by using more uniform and representative quasi random number. For the same number of random points, quasi random number makes the better results than the pseudo random number. This can guarantee the accuracy and improve the efficiency. We get good results by the empirical tests.
