Hydrothermal chemistry involved in developing practical Y type zeolite catalysts

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

The behavior of cations and framework components of Y type zeolites under hydrothermal condition is of critical importance in the preparation of REY zeolite and high silica Y zeolite. Work on optimizing the way of controlling the behavior of the related chemical species under hydrothermal condition is reported here. Based on our further understanding of the hydrothermal chemistry involved, some practical catalysts with superior performance for FCC process have been developed.
