Abstract

A series of hydrogenation catalysts and processes for producing clean gasoline and diesel fuels were developed in China in recent years. They include RN-10 hydrofining catalyst, 3974 high-pressure hydrocracking catalyst, RHT series catalyst for residue oil hydrogenation, mid-pressure hydrocracking process for producing premium middle distillates, deep desulfurization and de-aromatization technology for enhancing cetane number and decreasing density of diesel fuels, selective HDS and hydroisomerization technologies for processing FCC naphtha, and combination process of hydrogenation with FCC. Brief characteristics of these catalysts and processes were presented.
