Abstract
Robust synchronization was achieved in a hybrid configuration for three-color high-repetition-rate ultrashort mode-locked lasers around 800, 1030, and 1560 nm due to fractional amplification and enhanced cross-phase modulation. This hybrid synchronization scheme permits the achievements of timing jitter of 550 as between 800-nm and 1030-nm pulses by fractional amplification, and 8.3 fs between the 1030-nm and 1560-nm pulses by cross-phase modulation. The low timing jitter between 800- nm and 1030-nm pulses was commensurate with the broad emission band of the Ti:Sapphire laser.
