Generation of Phase-Coded Microwave Signals with a Tunable Frequency Multiplication Factor

Abstract

A phase-coded microwave signal generator with a frequency multiplication factor of two or four is proposed using two cascaded optical modulators. Phase-coded microwave signals from 10 to 40 GHz are generated using low frequency oscillators.
