Abstract

The OLED driver consists of a 384-channel column driver and a 160-channel row driver. The column driver is a 128 × 3 RGB controller with 128 × 3 × 160 × 4 bits display data memory. It supports user programmable 4/8-bit gray scale. The high accurate current-matching and built-in pre-charge circuit ensures uniform luminance and high-quality gray scale. It can be directly connected to a microprocessor via 8-bit/16-bit parallel interface. The display data can be stored in the internal memory and the driver can generate an OLED driving signal independent of the microprocessor. The row driver ensures uniform luminance at rapid scan rates with the voltage pre-charge option and built-in low switch on resistance. This driver is a low power consumption and low output impedance OLED controller.
