Abstract

Free-standing 3D macroscopic polyaniline (PANi)-carbon nanotube (CNT)-nickel fiber hybrids have been developed, and they deliver high specific capacitance (725 F g -1 at 0.5 A g -1) and high energy density at high rates (∼22 W h kg -1 at 2000 W kg -1, based on total electrode mass) with good cyclability.
