Abstract

A novel and simple constituent-template displacement process was introduced to incorporate nanosized particles into MSTFs. Combined FTIR, SAXRD, HREM/EDS, and UV-vis spectroscopy proved that nanosized TiO2 formed into pore channels of the MSTFs and the hexagonal mesostructure of parent materials is still retained. XPS results further confirmed that there are at least two coordination states present to the titanium species in TiO2/MSTFs.
