Abstract

Thin films of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) were deposited on glass substrate by electrophoretic deposition (EPD). The CNTs films were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and Raman spectrum. The films were thin and uniform. Field emission properties of EPD CNTs cathode and screen printed CNTs cathode were compared. The results indicate that the EPD CNTs cathode has low on-set field, higher emission current, and higher luminescence uniformity, than that of the screen printed CNTs cathode.
