Abstract

A fabrication of carbon nanotube (CNT) field emitters using a filtration-taping-transfer (FTT) method has been demonstrated. It shows excellent field emission performance compared with screen-printing and spraying methods. The CNT Emitters fabricated by the FTT method showed the high density of emission sites, good electrical contact, and strong mechanical adhesion. Furthermore, the CNT emitter made by the FTT method is useful for flexible field emitter devices.
