Enhanced third harmonic generation in few-cycle femtosecond filaments modulated by filament non-collinear interaction

Abstract

We demonstrate enhanced third harmonic generation of a few-cycle filament through its non-collinear interaction with a temporally synchronized femtosecond filament. An enhancement of 17 times in energy is achieved with a significant spectral broadening.
