Abstract

The electronic structures of perovskite and the energetic alignment at interfaces unambiguously govern the function and efficiency of perovskite-related optoelectronic devices. In this chapter, the determinant and influencing factors of perovskite electronic structures are comprehensively interpreted, including composition, surface termination/state, substrate, and environmental exposure, followed by unraveling the key role of energy level alignments and charge transfer processes at perovskite/charge transfer layer interfaces and perovskite/metal electrode interfaces.
