Efficient and secure electronic resume using smart cards

Abstract

In this paper, for the first time, we put forward the concepts and security requirements of electronic resume firstly. Then a concrete implementation of efficient and secure electronic resume scheme using smart card is also presented. Identity-based public key systems and message recovery signature schemes are adopted as building blocks in our scheme. No certificate is required to authenticate the electronic resume, and the job seeker's working experiences is unnecessary to be stored independently, since it can be recovered when the validity of the resume is checked. Our scheme is efficient and suitable for smart cards or similar devices, which are readily available but are constrained in terms of processing power and storage space.
