Abstract

In this work, label-free DNA sensors were prepared based on polypyrrole and polythiophene functionalized with conjugated side chain. Their sensing properties were investigated by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. The relative performance of sensors based on functionalized polypyrrole and polythiophene was compared and discussed.
