Abstract

Carbon nanotube (CNT) light array is a very promising technology for piling-up large-size display, because of it owns many advantages such as low cost, high luminance, long life, low power, fast response, full color, good compatibility, and so on. In this paper, we prepared CNT cathode using screen-printing technology. After that, we improved the field emission properties of the CNT cathode using plasma surface modification technology. Then, we designed and sealed diode-type 16 × 16 matrix CNT light array device. With simple driving circuits, we realized the dynamic display of the 16 × 16 matrix CNT light array device.
