Abstract

This paper provided a comprehensive overview of the development, advancements, and future prospects of high-speed maglev train systems, with a particular emphasis on the potential of 600 km/h high-speed maglev trains. Using the Shanghai maglev train system as a case study, the paper examined the intelligent maglev train technology, analyzing Components of intelligent maglev trains and the corresponding roles in enhancing the quality of transportation services. To provide valuable insights for future research on intelligent transportation systems, the paper included an adaptability analysis for the future development of maglev systems and briefly summarized the development history of maglev technology across various countries. Additionally, it aims to define the technologies, development pathways, and conceptual framework of maglev vehicle systems. This article serves as a resource for engineers and researchers, providing a deeper understanding of maglev transportation systems.
