Abstract
The charge transfer reaction of tri-(2,4-di-t-amylphenoxy)-(8-quinolinolyl) copper phthalocyanine (CuPc) and 2-octadecyl-7, 7, 8, 8-tetracyanoquinodimethane (C18-TCNQ) in alternating and mixed Langmuir-Blodgett (LB) films was studied by using Fourier transform infrdred, UV-Vis spectroscopy and cyclic voltammetry. These results indicated that charge transfer reaction happened between CuPc and C18-TCNQ in both LB films. The conductance measurement also showsed that conductivity of both LB films increased about three orders of magnitude than that of pure CuPc LB films.
