Abstract

Sol-gel derived KLN films deposited on Si and MgO single crystals were characterized. It was observed that tetragonal tungsten-bronze-type KLN films could be obtained with the sol-gel process, and highly transparent and oriented KLN films were successfully deposited on MgO substrates.
