Abstract

With substituted salicylaldehyde as racemization catalyst, crystallization-induced dynamic kinetic resolution of phenylglycine amide was successfully carried out in the presence of resolving agent. Under optimized conditions, the single-run resolution yield was upward 82% with enantiomeric excess higher than 99%. The resolving agent can be recycled, and the mother liquid which contains the racemization catalyst can be reused. The average yield of the three time's recycling was up to 99% with ee>99%.
