Abstract
The catalytic performance evaluation of Ni - based catalysts on SiO2, Al2O3, TiO2-SiO2, TiO2-Al2O3 supports for CO2-reforming of methane to syngas was investigated in temperature range from 873 to 1073K using feed stock with a CH4/CO2 ratio of 1. CH4 and CO2 coversions as well as CO and H2 selectivities increased with increasing reaction temperature and decreased with increasing GHSV. TiO2 promoter, which was used to modified catalysts through adsorption of TiCl4 gas method, effectively improved catalytic activities. The improving effects of TiO2 on the catalytic activities are probably due to the contributions to improving the SMSI effects of the catalysts.
