Abstract
The catalytic cracking performance of mesoporous aluminosilicates: NBMAS, AlMCM-41 and amorphous silica-alumina was compared by pulse injection method. Experiments involved cracking of 1,3,5-triisopropylbenzene and cumene at different temperature. The results indicate that the catalytic conversions of the model molecules increase with elevating of the reaction temperature on both the fresh and aged samples and that the distribution of cracking products of the two reactions varied regularly with the temperature. In addition, in the case of cumene cracking, we found that the activity of HZSM-5 was higher than the others due to its strong acidity.
