Abstract
A sensitized-type solar cell based on TiO2 photoanode and CdS quantum dots (QDs) as sensitizers has been studied. CdS QDs are grown on TiO2 film, utilizing ultrasonic spray pyrolysis deposition method. The photovoltaic measurement shows that the cell performance is improved with the increase of CdS deposition time and the short circuit current density and the conversion efficiency reach maximum values of 5.95 mA cm-2 and 1.21% at one sun (AM 1.5 G, 100 mW cm-2), respectively.
