Abstract

Based on well-defined semantics events in sport video, using the annotation method of manual entry to bridge the gap that between the low-level features and the semantics event in sports video. To solve the problems caused by separation of semantic description and video file, this dissertation proposes an approach for the information embedded in different video formats and gives the specific process using standard AVI file as an example. As a result of the annotation process, the new video could apply to applications such as sports video analysis, statistical analysis of technical and tactical and contribute to the improvement of technical and tactical of the players.
