Abstract
A parallel method was presented for solving the problem of vehicle-track dynamics in the network parallel environment. A vehicle-track dynamic system model was established where the characteristics of the vehicle and track are considered. A macro-pipelining parallel algorithm was proposed for the deduced differential equation, which is improved upon the traditional serial algorithm. The optimal number of hosts and the maximum speedup were analyzed. Considering the track irregularity, the macro-pipelining parallel program was implemented for solving the problem of vehicle-track dynamics. The performance of the presented algorithm was tested in network parallel environment, which consists of workstations and personal computers, showing it can obtain a high speedup.
