Abstract

Component object model (COM) technology is a new method to develop software. In this paper, the concept of COM and its characteristics and working principles are introduced. The typical component cases in the simulative power market management program are analyzed. The key software structure of the system, component construction, data exchange and interfaces are also introduced. At last, some advices on developing and using component are proposed.
