Abstract

Injecting inhibitors to inhibit CO₂ corrosion in oil-gas fields is a widely used method which has the advantages such as simpleness, being easy to use, economization on investment and yielding great results. The development of CO₂ corrosion inhibitors is summarized in this paper. The inhibitors for CO₂ corrosion are classified according to inhibitor single-component, snynergistic effects, application environments, environmental protection and so on. The trend of further development in this field is put forward.
