Abstract

In this paper, we present an approach to segment the brain vasculature in time-of-flight magnetic resonance angiography (TOF-MRA)An accelerated ICM algorithm has been proposed which is based on the observation that the vessel occupies about 5% of the intracranial volume. Experimental results show that the proposed model provides good quality of segmentation and can obviously increase segmentation speed.
