Abstract

The adaptive frequency domain interference cancellation and channel equalizer for CP-CDMA systems is proposed to cancel the residual interference stage by stage. At each stage, the proposed scheme performs adaptive forward filtering for channel equalization and interference cancellation in frequency domain so that the signal to interference plus noise ratio can be improved and the error propagation of interference cancellation can be avoided. The achieved SINR of each code channel is utilized to compute the normalized correlation coefficient. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme can achieve satisfactory performance and avoid error propagation.
