Abstract
Absorption and fluorescence spectral properties of some polyfluoroalkoxy metallophthalocyanines are reported for the first time. The absorption spectra and fluorescence spectra are related not only to the central metal and peripheral substituents, but also to the environment. In more polarizable solvents, the absorption and emission maximum blue-shifted, and the fluorescence intensity become lower.
