Abstract

Spin wave resonances related to interlayer exchange are observed in the FMR measurements in Fe/Cu multilayers with the Cu spacer layer thickness dCu < 28 Å. The spin wave is demonstrated to propagate through the whole multilayers and the phase change of the spin wave is shared by both Fe and Cu sublayers. The phase change across the Cu atomic layer is found to decrease with the increase of Cu sublayer thickness.
